10. Ar Tonelico: The Girl Who Sings at the End of the World
Genres: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Sci-Fi
Within the people of Soul Shell, a magical power resides. Those who possess this power are called the “Ravateel” and usually team up with knights to amplify their powers and purify Soul Shell from the monsters that inhabit it. However, these monsters seem to be heading towards a Soul Shell tower, the “Ar Tonelico” tower.
Soul Shell is divided into 2 parts, one is called “the lower layer” and the other “the upper layer” and each of these parts is inhabited by a different population. The top layer has a much more advanced technology than the bottom layer. Laine Barselt, the hero, directs his ship in an attempt to destroy a kind of monster that infests the upper layer but his ship is hit by the monster and falls straight to the lower layer, where it crashes. It is then that Orica Mestomille emerges, a rather particular “Ravateel” whose song does not seem at all to the point, which will try to heal Laine. Having crashed on top of a cliff, the ship falls even lower, dragging Laina and Orica with it. Our heroes meet in an unknown place. Laine’s ship is no longer in working order, so he decides to go to town to find a mechanic there, but it will not be easy, not to mention that a horrible monster will start to devastate the town.

The story of this anime about knights follows Red, a young man by the setting’s standards, who was kicked out of the hero’s party for not being a “true comrade” in terms of combat reliability. Accepting his banishment, Red decides that it is time to settle down in a small village and open an apothecary. After opening his shop, a friend from Red’s past shows up and asks to work with him. The story follows the day-to-day running of the apothecary with enough “side quests” and flashbacks.

The story of this anime about knights centers around Annelotte, a wandering knight, seeks justice against queen Claudette and her inquisition forces that… kind of spread injustice across the land… In general, the story of Queen’s Blade Rebellion takes a turn from the previous two seasons where it was a fighting tournament and this one changes over to fight the queen who has done away with that said tournament.
Overall, the story is pretty good, and the animation is nice. So if you’re looking for anime about knights and cutes girls! this show might be yours.

6. Walkure Romanze
Genres: Action, Romance, Sports, Ecchi, Harem, School
This anime about knights tells the story of Takahiro Mizuno and all the characters surrounding him (the vast majority of which are female) as they go about their school life. Takahiro is a Begleiter (a German word that the internet tells me can translate to ‘companion’), and most of the young women around him are knights, training hard to hone their jousting skills. A Begleiter is a mix of a squire, assistant, and coach, so a knight must have a good Begleiter. Takahiro happens to be one of the best ones out there, so he is highly sought out by the knights, and needless to say, they’re all female. There are probably some male knights around – I mean, Takahiro used to be one – but none seem interested in enlisting Takahiro’s help, nor do any get any lines or screentime even. Funny, that.
In general, the story was interesting, the art was beautiful, and the characters are well done. So if you’re a fan of anime with knights and horses. This show is for you.
5. Record of Grancrest War
Genres: Action, Drama, Fantasy, Romance
Grancrest Senki is a fantasy-based, political/war anime about knights. The story follows a wanderer named Theo, as he is dragged along by his mage Siluca on an adventure to challenge the injustices that exist in their world. Lords and mages fight for power and survival and prioritize that over the wellbeing and prosperity of the people. The continent is at war and Theo, Siluca, and their companions must contend with the status quo.
In general, the story is fast-paced and jumps right into it, but along the way, it explains everything. The animation is extremely good, the fantasy world is great, and the characters are pretty good. Some side characters were hard to keep track of but the main cast was very enjoyable. The action was very well done. The romantic subplot was very enjoyable even if it could have used more time. Some parts of the show felt a bit rushed. Very satisfying finale otherwise. Worth a watch especially if you like fantasy anime about knights.
4. Rage of Bahamut
Genres: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Supernatural, Demons
The story of this anime about knights takes place in an alternative world, where humans, demons, and angels coexist and are even at war with each other. However, one day, the black-and-silver winged Bahamut makes demons and angels cooperate and seal it. This creature is so strong that only Zeus and Satan can seal it. Alack, even they are powerless and both Lords are forced to sacrifice their lives to seal Bahamut. The key to that seal is split in two: one half is given to the Gods and the other to demons. Both Lords are now dead and no one can imagine what demons and the Gods will do. After two thousand years, a human woman steals the gods’ half of the key and the peace is destroyed. Who is that mysterious woman and what is she trying to achieve? Find the answer by watching Rage of Bahamut: Genesis.
In general, The plot is simple enough and easy to follow. The animation is the best point of this anime about knights. It’s fluent – especially fight scenes, and the characters are well done. Overall this is a must-see for any fan of anime about knights who wants to take a deep dive into adventure.
3. Alderamin on the Sky
Genres: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Military
The story of this anime about knights is set in a fantasy world, where the Katjvarna Empire is surrounded by neighboring countries with which it is at war. During the war between two neighboring empires, Ikta, a typical lazy genius young man want just live a peaceful life.
Suddenly, his life turned upside down when he joins the Imperial Segal High-Grade Academy with his childhood friend Yatorishino Igsem, who is almost the opposite of Ikta.
Alderamin is mainly focused on the war between two neighboring empires Katjvarna and the Republic of Kioka, and the struggles of Ikta and his comrades fighting in the war. This was an amazing Japanese anime about war with fantasy and military themes.
Overall, Alderamin on the Sky has a good story, likable characters, and the art style was nice. So if you’re a fan of anime about knights and war stories, this is something to keep an eye on.

2. Campione!
Genres: Comedy, Fantasy, Romance
This anime about knights is set in the modern-day and begins with a normal, somewhat lackadaisical main protagonist, Kusanagi Godou who is ignorant to all of the magic presents in the world. One day, while unknowingly delivering a precious magical artifact as an errand for his grandfather, he encounters a Great Knight and gets caught up in the world of magic. In an overwhelming series of events, he defeats a god using his magical artifact, and thus begins Campione!
Straightforwardly, Campione! is an uncomplex, linear, story that typifies the bash-em-up shounen/ecchi anime with set in the premise of Greek and Roman mythology. The characters were well developed, everyone had a purpose of being there and they were interesting. The art style was ok, but the fight animations were so good.
Overall, if you’re a fan of the Comedy, Fantasy, Harem series and you’re looking for an anime about knights! This show is a good watch for you.
1. Black Clover
This is a story of two kids who are orphans, brothers, and rivals with the same goal to be the strongest. However one has no personality and the other is someone who is talentless when it comes to magic, however, he doesn’t give up. moreover, one of the brothers does get a lot of screen time and doesn’t feel like the main character and is more like a minor yet still develops his skill at the same rate if not faster than the protagonist. the final arc has a steady build-up with a good climax at just over 100eps, I’d say it shows what the 100eps of preparation did for our protagonist and rival.
Overall, this is a good anime about knights, where someone with no magic like Asta wanna become the magic emperor, and not to mention he eventually gets some sort of magic powers and he has a demon inside him that might get unleashed or give him powers.
So it’s a very interesting knights anime to watch, but generally, they kinda go off the main story in a lot of episodes, and also the character development is great but it does not get a good screen time amount.
Black Clover has such a good story and Animation, and everything about it is thrilling to watch. worth the try.
